CRM Settings

Assistloft works out two things for you automatically:

  • Weighted Revenue: how much money you can realistically expect from the deals you’re working on
  • Contact Priority Score: which contacts need your attention first

Both work well out of the box. CRM Settings is where you can adjust them to fit the way your business sells. You don’t have to change anything here to use the CRM.

Head to CRM → Settings in your dashboard to open it. The page is called CRM Customization.

Only account owners and admins can make changes here. Teammates can view the settings but not edit them.

Weighted Revenue

Not every deal will close, so counting the full value of every deal would make your sales look bigger than they really are. Weighted Revenue fixes that by counting each deal according to how likely you are to win it.

For example, a $10,000 deal that you have a 60% chance of winning counts as $6,000.

You’ll see Weighted Revenue on the Revenue Pipeline page.

Contact Priority Score

Every contact gets a score from 0 to 100. The higher the score, the sooner you should get in touch. Assistloft adds up points for five things:

  • Stage: how far along the contact is
  • Urgency: how pressing things are right now
  • Follow-up date: whether a follow-up is due
  • Estimated value: how much the deal is worth
  • Win probability: how likely you are to win

The score is what decides your Priority contact on the Revenue Pipeline page.

What you can change

Stage Probabilities & Priority Weights

For each stage, you can set two numbers:

  • Win probability: how likely a deal at this stage usually is to close. This is used when a contact doesn’t have its own Win Probability.
  • Priority points: how many points a contact at this stage adds to its score

If deals at the Close stage almost always close for you, for example, raise its win probability.

Urgency Weighting

Choose how many points each urgency level adds: Hot, Warm, Steady, and Stalled. Assistloft decides a contact’s urgency for you, based on its stage and follow-up date.

Follow-Up Date

Choose how many points a contact gets when its follow-up is overdue or due today, coming up later, or not scheduled at all.

Below that, Win Probability Scaling sets the most points a contact can get for its win probability. A contact with a 100% chance gets all of them, and a contact with a 50% chance gets half.

Estimated Value Tiers

Bigger deals can earn more points. Each tier has a minimum amount and the points a deal earns once it reaches that amount. Amounts are in your business’s currency.

Try it before you save

The Scoring Simulator on the right lets you test your settings. Pick a stage, an urgency, a follow-up, an estimated value, and a win probability, and you’ll see the score that contact would get, along with how many points came from each part.

The simulator updates as you change the settings on the left, so you can see the effect before you save anything.

Saving your changes

Click Save Settings when you’re happy. The Revenue Pipeline page uses the new numbers straight away.

If you leave the page without saving, Assistloft asks you first, so you don’t lose your changes by accident.

Changed too much? Click Restore System Defaults to bring back the original settings, then click Save Settings.
